A few photos from Norwich State Hospital.

Norwich State Hospital is an abandoned asylum in Preston/Norwich, Connecticut consisting of around 30 buildings. It was open from 1904 - 1996. The architecture is stunning, and the history rich. They’ve been wanting to tear it down for some time now to make way for a movie studio and theme park/water park. To the best of my knowledge, those plans have been scrapped, but rumors of demolition have once again surfaced in the urban exploring community. Hopefully, it’s not true. If it is, I certainly hope they preserve part of it.
