So, I got slammed into by a pickup truck on the highway today. He decided not to look before switching lanes, throwing me into the barrier, where I proceeded to hit it, spin a few times, and hit it again. I got taken to the hospital strapped to a backboard with a neck brace where I was poke and prodded, x-rayed, and CAT scanned for a few hours. I managed to get out of the accident with only some seat belt burn, a banged up knee, and some nasty bruises.
I am incredibly lucky.
The picture doesn’t show how nasty the burn actually is. It crosses from the top of my neck all the way down the right side of my boob.
My car didn’t make it out in as good of condition as I did. Sorry, little car :(
